Asake was imagined as a Lagos-born skincare line — formulas built for humidity, harmattan and everything between, without over-promising what a bottle can do.
Every product on this site is fictional. Asake exists only as a design and development exercise: a full storefront built to demonstrate how a real skincare brand's e-commerce experience could look and function, end to end.
Formulas designed to hold up in heat and humidity, not just look good in a lab.
Clear concentrations, plainly explained — no ingredient lists that need a translator.
Textures and packaging chosen for a routine people will actually keep.
This storefront was designed and built by Naomi as a sample project under NaeLab, showcasing front-end development and e-commerce UX: multi-page navigation, a filterable catalogue, a working cart, and a lightweight admin panel for managing announcements, sales and stock. In this demo it runs on the browser alone; a live version would connect the same interface to Paystack for checkout and Firebase/Firestore for data.
Asake is not a real brand, no payments are processed, and no personal data collected here leaves your browser.
